4.1.2008. Shaolin Death Squad has begun the recording of their new album...look for a release of the song 'Scorpion' on the DoForIt Records compilation disc coming out early this summer. We do still have a west coast mini tour on our mind though it has been delayed. Also we will be opening up for Dillinger Escape Plan on april 18th at the Ridglea Theater in Fort Worth, Tx

2.1.2008 The DO FOR IT RECORDS show is on for tonight featuring the Spectacle and House Harkonnen in Dallas...but unfortunately Shaolin Death Squad had to drop of the bill due to a severe infestation of the flu virus inside the body of a dragon. We apologize for this and will make it up to you by playing some more shows.

1.12.2008 Happy New Year!! Some things to expect from SDS this year: Do For It Records endevours, a tour to the lower west coast USA(march or april), a new release(end of year??), maybe some kind of video, performances of new songs...and perhaps rebirths of old.

11.27.2007 The band will be taking the month of december off in order to continue work on new material. SDS is planning to start recording this new material in late Feburary or early March...also in March the group is planning to take a trip out to California to perform for it's inhabitants, as well as stopping along the way.

9.9.2007 SDS continues to work on new material for their next release. The recording will feature a song cycle inspired by the Shaw Brothers film "Five Deadly Venoms." With Halloween approaching rapidly, expect to hear Shaolin Death Squad's annual rendition of the song "This is Halloween" from the Tim Burton movie "A Nightmare Before Christmas." There is also a possibility of some other halloween-appropriate cover songs for performances in the second half of October. Check the engagements for show dates.

8.20.2007 The birth of the new Shaolin Death Squad website as well as the introduction to a new member/character, the Black Scorpion. Also take a look at the new Do For It Records website which is a growing, hand-picked salad of and for creative projects.
